Road to the Cup

It took the Ravens only 4 games to win the 04-05 Championship. They received a bye in the first round as the edged out the Thrashers for the Regular Season title. In the semi-finals they were in tough against the Rage and down late in game 1, but sticking to their game plan and a timely goal by Brian Brum got them the win. Game 2 was another close affair going into the 2nd period tied 2-2, but they shut the door down the rest of the way and secured a 4-2 victory.

In the finals they would meet the Barons, whom they had met in the last 3 finals both teams were in the league. Game one was a back and forth game that finished with Ravens bounce and beautiful shot by Brian Brum just 40 seconds into OT. In game 2 at half time it appeared there would be a game 3, but the Ravens poured it on and scored 5 unanswered goals which were enough for the win and the Championship.
